About

NL-portrait4

I’m an enthusiastic graphic designer from Porvoo, Finland, with a soft spot for social involvement. I’m currently working with clients like Suomalaiset kehitysjärjestöt Fingo, Suomen Lähetysseura and Suomen Partiolaiset –Finlands Scouter ry. In my work it’s not just about what meets the eye – there has to be thought-out content and functionality to back up a good design. I appreciate collaborating with others and consider the best results to be achieved through tightly-knit team work.

Since 2018 I’m working as the Art Director of Maailman Kuvalehti. I’m also a member of the creative co-operative Lilith, through which I manage my freelancer work.

I’ve worked over ten years in the field of graphic design, my areas of expertise include creating visual concepts to print materials in all different forms (exhibitions, brochures, books, magazines). I’m also acquainted with responsive web design using WordPress and Drupal, and the world of social media campaigns.

For three years I participated in creating Felm’s (Suomen Lähetysseura) biggest annual fundraising campaign, Kauneimmat Joululaulut. A personal highlight for me through the years has been the renewal of Forssa museum, which was rewarded with the first annual Museum of the year award in 2014. I was project manager for the graphic design sector, as well as AD.
